Description
This paper presents fiber element analysis of RC bridge column with termination of main reinforcements. Simulated is seismic response of five circular RC bridge columns under unilateral pushover loading, unilateral cyclic loading, bilateral cyclic loading and unilateral hybrid loading under a near-field ground motion and a far-filed ground motion with long duration. The computed responses are quite close to the experimental results until the column did not collapse in shear or main reinforcements did not buckle.
