The method has been developed for fhe quantitative analysis of polar materials incorporated in cosmetic products.<br>With the column, Chromosorb 101, this analytical method shows excellent separation in water, alcohols, humectants, lower fatty acids etc.. The recovery of propylene glycol and glycerol for the model system was 92.6-102.1%<br>In addition the high thermal stability of Chromosorb 101 enables us to apply gas-solid chromatography to the analysis of mixture containing relatively high boiling compounds.<br>It is considered that this method can be effective for the quantitative analysis of cosmetic products
