Abstract
High performance shotcrete with high early strength, over 3 N/mm2 after 10 minutes, has been developed for improvement of safety and application of high-speed excavation. High strength additive and super self-hardening acceralator, together to form ettringite, are applied to high quality shotcrete, which is achieved by adoption of two-stage mixing, known as SEC method, and usage of silica-fume, limestone fine-powder. Both table tests and shotcrete experiments in a model tunnel are described.
