抄録

The final control element of this control system consists of an electric-hydraulic power actor and a PIV (chain gear) variable speed device. We measured the dynamic property of the final control element by the frequency response method, with the following results:<BR> (1) The frequency transfer function Ga (S)s =jω of the electro-hydraulic power actor is:<BR>Ga(S)s=jω=[ka ω2na/s2+2ξa ωnas+ω2na]s=jω<BR> The constants of this formula change with the load, amplitude of the input signal, etc. However, if we consider only a frequency bond within the limits of 20 rad/sec, we may ignore these effects.<BR> (2) The frequency transfer function of PIV variable speed device, Gυ(s)s=jω is:<BR> Gυ(s)s=jω[kυ/(1+Ts)(1+Ts)]s=jω<BR> Time constants T and T are affected only slightly by the amplitude of the input signal or revolutions of the input shaft, if the revolutions are above 700 rpm.<BR> (3) We have to consider the backlash of the part where the power actor and PIV variable speed device are connected. If we express the backlash element by describing function GN (h/a), the frequency transfer function of the whole final control element, Gf (s) s= jω is:<BR> G f (s) s=jω [Ga(s) · G (h/a) · Gυ(s) ] s= jω<BR>where h is the size of the backlash zone, and a is the amplitude of the input signal for backlash.<BR> (4) Therefore, the dynamic property of the final control element is influenced by the amplitude of the input signal.
