説明

The stresses in the yarn beam were inspected and recorded throughout winding. The yarn used were nylon filaments and cotton yarn.<BR>The stress of beam in two directions, longitudinal and circumferential, was inspected by means of wire strain gages which were fixed inside the beam cylinder.<BR>The following data were obtained through the experimental results and the theory.<BR>1) Yarn pressure on the beam cylinder.<BR>2) Force acting on the beam flanges through the yarn.<BR>3) The anithotropicality of the yarn layer.<BR>4) The general applicability of the theory.
