Description
For the purpose of reduction of the adverse effects on human health and application of the new household chemical products, the system of the human risk evaluation was proposed based on consumers' view points. The proposed system is based three processes composed of pre-marketing risk assessment process, post-marketing risk assessment process, and risk management process. Firstly in the pre-marketing risk assessment process, when the new household chemical products are intend to introduce in the market, the consumer tests are necessary to include an exposure assessment. Secondly, in the post-marketing assessment process, the claim from consumers will be evaluated and included in the assessment. Finally, in the risk management process for reducing risks coming from the usage of household chemical products, risk communication between consumers and industries are important parts.
