Abstract

To clarify the evaluation from care givers and tenants about the introduction of care-volunteer in senior facility, first, we conducted the survey on the opinion of managers of senior facilities. Next, the satisfaction level of facility staffs, care-volunteers and tenants with care-volunteer introduction and how they feel about the difference of care service quality between the facility staff and care-volunteer. As a result, it was found that the managers of senior facilities were thinking the introduction of care-volunteer improves the latitude of care by reduction of the workload of staffs. And, the staffs, care-volunteers and tenants can feel better latitude in the facilities which have higher percentage of care-volunteer. In the same way, we also find they feel more satisfied with the service of care-volunteer and feel no difference about the service quality between staffs and care-volunteers. In this way, introduction of volunteer are welcomed by the care-givers and tenants.
