Description

In this paper, five texts in “Ainu shin-yo syu" which was translated by Yukie Chiri were investigated by the author. It is interpreted that the chiastic structure in Ainu oral literatures is one of the characteristic rhetoric expression styles. The author has judged that the data of the intersection antithesis introduced in this paper are useful knowledge for the investigations of life and culture in Ainu.
