Description

Aoba Bridge is the concrete arch bridge, with a bridge length of 270 m and a arch span of 180 m, located in Takatiho-town Miyazaki Prefecture. As the construction method, combination truss and cica*6 construction method is adopted, that is the first application in Japan. Archring construction that was cast-in-place long segment was applied because of shortening of construction period. The bridge is now under construction. This reports outline the construction of the arch bridge.
