Abstract
This article discusses how academic information and communication should be in the age of “Web2.0”. Part I focuses on “What is Web2.0?” and how “Web2.0” affects academic information and communication with example of blog. Based on former discussion, it is emphasized that model of user participation and strategic data control are not unnecessary. Part II points out fundamental barrier which constricts model of user participation. Finally, it proposes a strategic data control for user participation model.
