Abstract

The National Diet Library of Japan and the National Center for Science Information Systems of Japan publish J-BISC and NACSIS CD:Serials respectively, for searching bibliographic data of books or bibliographic data and holding data of serials by a personal computer. But due to the search operations being not unified, the users must be distressed. The author began to develop an integrated system that could search the above CD-ROMs with one page format and the unified operations on a web browser program. He already developed a system for seaching the J-BISC using a web browser program. He has newly developed a system for the NACSIS CD:Serials. With combining these two systems, the integrated system that can access to the J-BISC and the NACSIS CD:Serials with one page format and the unified operations is now available. Therefore using this system, the users are released from the stress.
