Abstract

To create and leverage intellectual property should be country’s problem to save undervitalized Japan. We have little essential technologies and basic patents, therefore it must be necessary to create a new technology now. Why do or must we come to attach importance to the intellectual property now? It was referred that Japanese enterprises could not survive without managing based on “intelligence”, so I make a survey of the social background which brought changes on the environment and describe a role of the intellectual property from the aspect of the intelligence activity. It might not be necessary to discuss afresh the importance of R&D (Research and Development), but we need to address to the view of I&D (Information & Development) to create the intellectual property. I consider in the practical view how intelligence activity promotes I&D, and the features or contents of information which are needed for the typical intellectual activity.
