Abstract

Competition to achieve maximum R&D efficacy has become global in proportion. Efficient R&D support is an important management problem related to future success and existence of pharmaceutical corporations. This paper examines the utility of computer system application in the field of R&D support and also clarifies a variety of problems relating to drug discovery. In conclusion, the author proposes a R&D support system for drug discovery based on the integration of methodologies that are recently attracting much attention.
