Description
Containerlization brings us a lot of merits. However it still has some own problems. One of its characteristic problems is sweat. In a general cargo carrier, some excellent prevention methods for sweat damages were developed and adopted to each hold. So it was treated very efficiently. On the other hand, a ventilated container or a non-sweat sheet has been used in order to prevent the sweat damage in the containers. However, the former sometimes introduces rain water or spray of waves and the latter can not be used repeatedly. Considering the above situation, we study the fundamental properties of sweat on ceiling. Carrying out experiments, we obtained some interesting results. They are summarized as follows: 1) The increasing rate of sweat quantity on the ceiling is proportional to the difference of absolute humidity of air under the container ceiling and that corresponding to the ceiling temperature, and the proportional constant is given in the experiment.2) The sweat on ceiling grows up under a sweat condition, however it saturates to a certain amount after some time. The saturated sweat quantity depends on the temperatures of ceiling and that of the air outside the container.
