Description
The ten minute instillation group was compared with the 2-3 minute instillation group regarding the efficacy and safety of a 0.3% Ofloxacine otic solution.
1) The rate of clinical efficacy (excellent and good responses) for the 10 minute instillation group and the 2-3 minute instillation group were 86%and 94%, respectively. There were no statistical differences between the two groups.
2) No side effects were seen in any cases.
Based on the above findings, the 2-3 minute instillation was therefore found to be as safe and effective as the 10 minute instillation.
