Description
In recent refuse incineration plants, an automatic combustion control system (ACC) is introduced for efficient plant operation and pollution prevention. However everything can not always be automated in refuse combustion. The person in charge who is responsible for it has no control and set up such target values as the amount of refuse to be disposed, the amount of steam generated and the remaining oxygen concentration, depending on circumstances. There are various target values in this task, i.e., maintaining the amount of refuse disposed, securing the necessary amount of steam generation and restraining the amount of NO_x and CO generated. He must do the work considering these factors carefully ; nevertheless there are various conflicts and differences in measuring scales of these target values, so he needs effective information to set up most suitable parameters. This paper clarifies the method to make a combustion control support system that can present the necessary information to set up the combustion control parameters based on Saaty's AHP. A prototype system made by us could be confirmed to be effective as a result of testing it.
