Description

In 2011, The Core and Advanced Level IPC has integrated into the “Full IPC” and this change influences the procedure of the IPC revision. Also, the place of discussion with regard to classification harmonization has been changing from the Trilateral Offices to the IP5 Offices. This paper, firstly explains what has changed in the IPC, then, secondly, also explains the “Common Hybrid Classification (CHC) Project”, harmonization activity currently conducted amongst the IP5 Offices, with the information how the JPO has been involved in that project.
