Description
<p>In this research, the present situation of governmental measures against compound disasters and mega-disasters and the evaluation of their probability are dealt with by the method of questionnaire survey for prefectural and metropolitan governments. Approximately 30% of governments have experienced the compound disasters, and recognize that the compound and mega disasters will happen in the next fifty years. However, the measures against compound and mega disasters have not been prepared yet in each local plan for disaster prevention.</p>
