Abstract

Founded in 2002, CANVAS is a non-profit organization committed to delivering environment for children to create and express in this digital age. To date, approximately 350 thousand children have participated in our programs. In order to promote "proactive, cooperative and creative learning experiences", CANVAS continues to act as a platform for parties such as international and domestic science museums, education and technology researchers, artists, local governments, and companies to meet and engage with one another. CANVAS has also been promoting programming education since establishment. We are going through a once in a millennium transformation, the so-called digital revolution. Children are required to develop skills to create jobs that currently don't exist. Through programming education, we hope children will be able to nurture skills, such as the ability to think logically, solve problems, create new values in cooperation with others.
