Abstract

The new innovation is necessary for next generation healthcare, using database-driven knowledge derived from multi-visionary big database in healthcare. To build exploratory system of similar patient cases from healthcare big-data with a facing patient and to utilize data for medical AI, as well as to build large-scale multi-institutional healthcare database, it is significant to make standard infrastructure such as SS-MIX2 data storage and common anonymization technology. The PMDA MID-NET database project is based on these standard technologies, and several disease-oriented patient registry database projects are being constructed by academic societies. These patient registry database use the common basis of multi-purpose clinical registry database system called MCDRS the author developed. Healthcare database is growing to include additional resources such as life-world real data as well as personal genome information. It is needed for this coming complex healthcare database to consolidate the infrastructure of common ICT environments toward efficient and high-quality database utilization.
