Description
In accordance with the developments in processing technology, importance of measurement of surface roughness is mounting. Surface roughness is potentially influential factor to variety of functional capability. In volume manufacturing, accuracy control is very important. Therefore total inspection is ideal way. But now, there is no method to enable it. In this study, we make a suggestion measurement of surface roughness by Laser Speckle method. Because of simple measurement system constructed a few components and speedy measuring, this method is suitable to online measurement. At the present stage, we confirm that it is possible to calculate surface roughness parameter defined by JIS from measurement value by this method.
