Description
N-channel Organic Field-Effect Transistors (OFETs) containing trifluoromethylphenyl groups usually show high threshold voltages (59-78 V). One of our research has aimed to decrease the threshold voltages in n-channel ones. For this purpose, benzothiadiazole (BTD) is an attracting heterocycle which has a high electron affinity. Then we have prepared BTD and related heterocycle derivatives containing trifluoromethylphenyl groups.
