Description
Recently, an X-ray structure analysis of the gold nanoparticles consisting of Au102 was carried out. It revealed that these gold nanoparticles are covered with gold complexes which are coordinated a benzene thiol derivative. To prepare of nanoparticles protected with gold complexes substituted by an alkyl groups, we synthesized the gold complex which substituted by butyl groups and revealed the structure by a single-crystal X-ray structure analysis. Additionally, the results of TG of the complex showed existence of strong Au-Bu bonding. We also report the properties of the nanoparticles obtained by reduction of the complex.
