抄録

Hypocentre of earthquake does not always coincide with the original source of tidal wave. Several stationary wave system sometimes irritate ocean bottom and causes unknown huge long solitary wave. In this particular case through there is noteciable trace of earthquake in the usual seismographical record, vessels are damaged by strange bore and breaker. Steep cliff on the edge of continental shelf generates land slide, where S-wave usually precedes P-wave in this preliminary stage of propagation of so-coiled "tsunami".
