Abstract

Rubber string type associative memory algorithm is proposed. The associative memory algorithm has the following three main characteristics. (1) Since the algorithm itself is very easy, there are few amounts of calculation. (2) Orthogonality of the characteristic pattern vector is unnecessary. (3) The stability of association is theoretically guaranteed. By using this associative memory algorithm and by expressing the nature of objects and condition of search by fuzzy sets, we aim to construct an information retrieval system that can search the information even when a user gives a vague condition.
