抄録

In the previous paper, the stability of the spaced truss was discussed, and then two kinds of calculation methods of the deflections and the truss member's stresses were reported. In this paper, there are reported the results of two above mentioned methods, and they are compared with each other. Furthermore, the results of experimental analysis on the spaced truss, which is actually carried out on the model, are imformed. From theoretical and experimental analysis, the conclusions are obtained as follows; a) The deflection, calculated by the approximate method, is vather smaller than that by the precise method. b) It is useful for designing the spaced truss to calculate the deflections and stress distributions not only by the precise method but also by the approximate one, comparing with the results of experimental analysis.
