Abstract
Recently, cellulose is considered as a renewable carbon source instead of fossil fuel. Heterogeneous catalyst has attracted attentions because it can be easily separated after reaction. Our results showed that cellulose could be converted into lactic acid using heterogeneous catalysts, transition metal oxides.
