Description
We have analyzed the surface structure of CoMo/Al2O3 hydrodesulfurization catalyst by using 129XeNMR. At a given Mo loading, a 129XeNMR signal gradually shifted to the low magnetic field with a Co loading. This result strongly suggests that the antiferromagnetic Co-Mo-S phase was formed due to the addition of Co. Hence, we consider that 129XeNMR is applicable to the analysis of Co-Mo-S phase.
