Abstract
This paper describes the recent topics of aerodynamic vibrations associated with bridge designs, such as how to aerodynamically stabilize the flutter instability for super long spanned bridges, how to suppress the wind-induced vibration of inclined cables of cable-stayed bridges and the aerodynamic stabilization of two-girder bridge which are often constructed because of their economical advantages.
