Description
A reliable analysis method is required for strongly coupled problem of fluid and structure. In the dynamically scaled experiment, it is difficult to satisfy the key conditions of non-dimensional numbers simultaneously as the number of conditions increases. In the computation, although it has been developing rapidly, its careful validation is still required. In this study, a fluid-structure interaction simulation using the complementary computation and dynamically scaled experiment is proposed, and it is applied for an insect flapping flight to demonstrate its ability.
