抄録

The aim of this paper is to study the wave behavior of nonlinear ground. After finishing developing nonlinear constitutive laws for soil ground and deriving the wave front propagating equation in such ground by Singular Surface theory in references 1), 2), 7), we provide a continued study on wave propagation in finite linear ground in this paper. The resul can be noted as: The final wave equation for plane wave identifies with the modified K-dV equation in Soliton Theory. Thus a way to study nonlinear soil ground by the famous nonlinear theor the Soliton Theory has been predicated. The theoretical solution in a special case and some cal culating examples have also been presented.
