Analysis was done in three ways; First analysis mainly tries to analize the ratio of resident's satisfaction for their housing in terms of six social conditions. i) In terms of Housing ownership; [ownership pattern of houses] [ratio of satisfied accupants] a) owner of the house 66.3% b) tenants of company housing 56.7% c) tenants of rental house 51.7% Thus, "the owner of the house" (a) could be seen as having stronger satisfaction for their homes than temporary tenants. Furthee mention should be made that among "the owner of the house" (a), those who actually built the home themselves are found to have even greater ratio of satisfaction (71.1%). On the contrary, 'a single-room tenants of privately-sun tenement houses' or 'those in relocation housing (in slum area)' show lower ratio, 30.9% or 42.8% respectively. ii) In terms of Duration of settlement; The longer the occupants settle at the place, the stronger satisfaction the residents shows. [Duration of settlement] [Ratio of satisfied occupants] Those settled since 1955 52.4% Those settled before Taisho ara 71.0% iii) In terms of the Age of the head households; The older the head of household is, the stronger satisfaction is expressed. [the age household-head] [Ratio of satisfied occupants] under 30 years of age 43.7% over 70 years of age 72.8% iv) In terms of Occupancy density; Smallar density is associated with better living condition, the smaller the density is, the stronger satisfaction is expressed. [occupancy density] [ratio of satisfied occupants] less than 4.5m^2 per household member 42.3% more than 18m^2 per household member 74.3% v) In terms of Occupational group; Those who run minor business (professional, commercial, manufacturing, service etc.) show higher ratio of satisfaction as compared to worker class. And among worker class, blue collar class show lower ratio of satisfaction than that of white collar class. vi) In terms of Local background; Those born at the place or have come from adjacent region show stronger satisfaction compared to those who have come from remoter region. Especially, the resident coming from stronger region (Kanto, Kansai) show lower ratio (49.0%・41.9%) of satisfaction. The second analysis tries to test x^2-distribution of the item of resident's preference and six items of their objective status. Then, we gained results as follows; i) the relation of the item of 'Preference' and the item of 'Housing ownership' shows correlation in the reliability of more than 99.5%. ii) the relation of the item of 'Preference' and the item of 'Duration of settlement' shows correlation in the reliability of more than 99.5%. iii) the relation of the item of 'Preference' and the item of 'the Age of the head of households' shows correlation in the reliability of more than 99.5%. iv) the relation of the item of 'Preference' and the item of 'Occupancy density' shows correlation in the reliability of more than 99.5%. v) the relation of the item of 'Preference' and the item of 'Occupational group' shows correlation in the reliability of more than 99.5%. vi) the relation of the item of 'Preference' and the item of 'Local background' shows correlation in the reliability of more than 97.5%, this relation shows lower-correlation than before five relations. We have thought that those results are better comparatively. At the end, we tried to test used to Tschuprow's contingency coefficient ([numerical formula]). Then we found out that 'Housing ownership' was the strongest factor in all factor acting to 'Preference'. Their order of importance of factors acting to 'Preference' shows as follows; Housing ownership>Duration of settlement>Age of the head of households>Occupancy density>Occupational group>Local background.
