抄録

This study quantitatively has clarified how stiffnesses of bracing members, slenderness ratios of column members and shape ratios of frames have contributed to buckling strength and non-linear deformation behavior by the static loading tests and the non-linear buckling analyses of legs of trussed towers. It has been confirmed that we can calculate total buckling strength of legs with consideration to the upper parts of column members keeping linear stress behavior. This paper offers our advanced philosophy of design of the legs to consider non-linear deformation behavior. In such a structural configuration of leg designed by this philosophy, column members may buckle between the cross points before the other members do. And required stiffness of bracing members against column buckling mentioned above, has been obtaind and formulated by parametiric con-linear buckling analyses.
