Description
For the interior design in dwelling, it is the fundamental condition to regulate the indoor environment adequately for an inhabitant. Especially, the ventilation design has recently become to one of the most important items for keeping the indoor air quality, because of the prevention for the sick-house-syndrome. The indoor air quality depends on the airflow characteristics caused by the ventilation. This paper describes the effect of airflow on the ventilation performance obtained by the experiments using an artificial climatic chamber as well as by the computational fluid dinamics. Designers need to know the extent to which parameters improve the indoor environment.
