Abstract
The study started from classifying monsters’ shapes according to the results of literature survey. Next, it applied an investigation of monster cognition and like-dislike degree to the elementary school students, and it showed that “Assembling Monster” was the best presenting skill in all categories under two conditions, fitting a certain cognitive degree of monsters and maintaining readers’ interests. According to the results, the following research is going to focus on the analysis and survey of Assembling Monster’s shape elements. It’s expected to obtain subjects’ reactions and evaluation toward each element or the combination and to confer the questions about children’s cognition, evaluation and feelings to monster shapes under different conditions
