Abstract
The concept of "Plant factory" is proposed and gradually become one of the main ways to solve the shortage of the plant foods. Its advance includes enhancing production, raising efficiency, saving time and reducing the cost and so on. Nowadays, NTU with Taiwan’s companies combine the technologies of LED lights, semiconductor, experience and equipment of agriculture and positive builds "full- artificial lights for plants" industry. Moreover, their goal is to produce leaf vegetable crops up to 49% of daily vegetable consumptions in Eastern Asia by plant factory.
