Description
In the visually saturated contemporary world, all of us, both makers and consumers, regularly produce visual images as part of our daily lives. In such a situation, the purpose of this study is to explore the affinities between moving image and design activity through an examination of the social design project FIXPERTS. In particular, this study focuses on effective usage of videos in design process. In FIXPERTS project the videos mainly play three roles: recording, analyzing and presenting. FIXPERTS model regards visual contents as media but in addition the production processes of moving images are conceptualized as mediators which enable, interfere with, and control the flow of messages between communicators.<br>
