Abstract
If virtual signs are presented at any location where we want (e.g., the virtual sign instructing to turn left is presented at the intersection 100 m ahead), the virtual signs would support driving and prevent accidents. In order to investigate the way to present the virtual signs at the location where we want, the authors examined the effects of motion parallax in accordance with the observers' motion on depth perception. The results indicated that we could present the virtual signs at the location where we want by using motion parallax in accordance with the observers' motion.
