Abstract
For an automobile which moves at high speed, aerodynamics design is essential design technique to reduce aerodynamic drag and lift. In recent years, every automotive manufacturer focuses aerodynamics design again for solving environmental problems. In the aerodynamic design procedure, rear part design is one of the most important part. In particular, Coda Tronca treatment is effective in reducing aerodynamic drag and extremely important design theme. In this paper, the mechanism of aerodynamic drag reduction by Coda Tronca will be shown with Computational Fluid Dynamics Technique.
