Description

 In this research, definition of “Kosei” in “Kosei educational publications” or “Kosei Kyoiku” from 1932 to 1935 has been examined. <br>While being defined as composition, it was also introduced as “Zuan Kosei” and it was considered as a new type of education. Although, “Zuan” is tied with life and acts as an abstract motif, but the concept of “Pattern” or “Kosei of Pattern” has also been used in “Kosei Kyoiku”. <br> It was concluded that today’s definition of “Kosei” in design’s basic education is very close to the abstract concept of beauty used at the start.<br>
