Abstract

This study aimed to propose clothes for atopic dermatitis from the viewpoints of patients. We considered the cloth suitable for the skin by considering combinations and weaving structures of fibers. We also dyed the yarn and cloth with natural dye to color and design them so that the image of therapy is softened. We produced protective equipments for affected areas of neck, hands, and elbows that attract public attention. We actually got the patients with atopic dermatitis to wear them, and got feedback from them that they want to actually use them.<br>
