Description
Ag ion-exchanged glasses are containing spherical metallic silver particles after heat treatment. The glass samples were irradiated with femtosecond laser, and the irradiated spots were observed by a transmission electron microscope. The differences in sizes, shapes, and concentrations of Ag nanoparticles before and after the laser irradiation were found.
