Description
Thermoelectric and magnetic properties of Ca-doped (Ca1-xHox)3Co2O6 with x = 0, 0.01, 0.03 and x = 0.05 were studied. At high temperature, thermal conductivity of the samples decreased and Seebeck coefficient increased with increasing Ho concentrations. Magnetic susceptibility between 2K to 400K shows a transition from ferrimagnetic at low temperature to paramagnetic on heating. In the high magnetic field, a field-induced transition from ferrimangetic to ferromagnetic structure occurs, implying turning of the spins in the chain.
