Description
The potential of renewable energy has to be considered in local level. In addition, energy demand and supply of renewable energy vary depending on the season and time. In this paper, we examined the potential of renewable energy supply and the balance of the supply-demand in the Tokigawa town in 2030, considering the future demographic trends and seasonal and time fluctuation of renewable energy supply and residential energy demand. As a result, renewable energy in Tokigawa town in 2030, by the spread of solar energy to houses, was estimated the electricity supply exceeds the total demand and the heat also can supply about 71% of the total demand. However, depending on the season and time, it became clear that renewable energy supply is far below demand.
