Description
High-rise buildings often have a pilotis at the base floor. Most building code and standards does not show the design wind pressure coefficient for soffits and walls in a pilotis. This report describes an experimental result of pressure coefficients on soffits and walls in a pilotis of a high-rise building. Worst peak pressure coefficients for cladding of soffits and walls in a pilotis derived from the results are recommenced in this paper.
