Abstract
Particle reinforced cementitious mixtures were prepared with six maximum sizes of silica sand (No.3-8) for this experiment. Extrusion moulding and single shear tests with fresh mixtures were carried out for clarifying the effects of aggregate size on the operating points of production facilities. The general tendency of productivities and shear characteristics were almost the same as in case of using standard silica sand except the No.3, and operating points could be predicted through the single shear test. The smaller the size became, the greater the cohesion and extruding pressure were.
