Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the squeeze part of aerostatic guidance and the mass flux, and to make the design calculation on the aerostatic guidance more accurate by establishing practical flux coefficient, when making a design on aerostatic guidance. The inner surface roughness of an orifice with 0.4mm diameter was observed when making a calculation model of impressed air passing through the orifice in the self–squeeze region. The boundary layer theory was used in this model. In this report the comparison of the experiment value and the calculation value of the air flow will be reported.
