Abstract
It is impossible to measure inner shape of small glass holes using a contact probe. The hole diameter is too small to enter the probe. If we cut the glass hole along longitudinal axial direction, reveal and transfer the inner face of the glass hole to the outer face, we can measure the outer face of the glass hole in longitudinal axial direction using a contact probe. But even though the inner glass hole surface is revealed, it′s still impossible to measure sharp peripheral shape of glass hole using a contact prove. To overcome the difficulty of the glass hole inner shape measuring, we used the replica of the glass hole which was translated inner shape of glass hole to outer shape. Then we measured the peripheral shape of the replica using non-contact 3D form measuring instrument. The purpose of this research is to confirm the effectiveness and clarify the issues of the replica method and the measuring instrument.
