In order to carry out the project of the park for the blind, it is essential to collect the fundamental datas about the utilization of this park. Hence, now our main objective is to collect these datas.<BR>In the center and the school for the blind, we investigated the out door plays with the view to know the things such as: hobby, physical exercise, and the condition of their joining club.<BR>From this investigation, we were able to know the fact that the blind is eager to play in the open air.<BR>In the class of elementary education, they like jungle jim, swing, and so on, which indicate a rythmical element and a sense of touch.<BR>In the class of secondary and higner education, most of them are interested in sports. As the systematic sports, they are fond of baseball, volleyball, and ping-pong for the blind. And generally boys like baseball, and girls like volleyball.<BR>As for the grown-up blind, who can't see at all, the male like not only ball games but also bowling, swimming, mountain-climbing, and the female are fond of sports such as volleyball, gymnastics, walking, and so on. But, on the other hand, the older they are the more they tale a negative atitude, and stay indoors, which means to spend a day, generally in reading, music, handicraft, and watching television.<BR>The oldest blind has a tendency to spend time in walking and ball games only for the old, and mainly plays in the places such as the ground of his school and the open space with his friends rather than by simself.
