Abstract
This presentation is to show the process of restructuring of the geostory around Lake Koyama in San’in Kaigan geopark, and suggest to select the geoheritages with a story line. It is important that a geosite has a rich geostory for its exploitation in the geoparks. Actually, the space and time scale of the geostory expands, and this makes various geotours for visitors/tourists in the geoparks. In San’in Kaigan geopark, people change the comprehension about “geo”from the narrow meanings to the wide by restructuring of the geostories.
